When it comes to dentistry, Dr. Evans’ favorite part of the whole process is getting to connect with his patients on a personal level. He always goes the extra mile to help them not only improve their oral health, but their quality of life too! If you’d like to learn more about him, just continue reading below.
A Sissonville native, Dr. Evans has studied at West Virginia University every step of the way through his educational journey. He started with his Bachelor’s in Biology, followed by the completion of his dental doctorate. He also remained at the school to complete his Master’s and certificate in Prosthodontics through a three-year residency program.
Dr. Evans’ residency allowed him to become very knowledgeable about all aspects of dentistry, from simple treatments all the way up to complex prosthetic cases involving dental implants and full mouth rehabilitation. Over the years, he’s attended numerous continuing education courses involving digital dentistry (intraoral scanners and 3D printing). He’s also undergone state-of-the-art training in maxillofacial prosthodontics, which involves treating patients with cleft lip/palates and other maxillofacial conditions. He is a current member of the American Dental Association and West Virginia Dental Association.
Dr. Evans, his wife Samantha, their daughter Lydia, and their big hound dog Jax recently moved back to the Teays Valley area. Many members of his large family also live close by, including his parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles, and plenty of cousins. Outside of working hours, he enjoys keeping up with West Virginia University football/basketball games, hiking, camping, and swimming in the warmer months. He’s also a huge NASCAR fan! He grew up at local small tracks and definitely has a passion for racing of all kinds.
